About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee uncleared construction personnel and provide worker escorts in sensitive project areas
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and building materials for tampering or concealed surveillance threats
  • Review civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing blueprints and architectural drawings
  • Maintain personnel entry/exit records, daily construction progress logs, photographic evidence, and delivery logs
  • Report suspicious behavior, security incidents, and protocol violations to the Site Security Manager
  • Enforce secure site access through visitor escort management and identification checks
  • Conduct comprehensive monitoring and unobtrusive observation of construction operations
  • Ensure compliance with Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705)
  • Support technical surveillance countermeasures awareness and prevention of covert listening, recording, or tracking devices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 to 5 years of combined experience in construction security surveillance, construction quality assurance, or hands-on supervisory construction
  • Completion of a recognized 40-hour CST certification course, such as Department of State SE-630/SE-631 training or an equivalent government-approved program
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and potentially additional project/client background checks
  • Clear, professional, and articulate communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to changing priorities, and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and on a multifunctional team
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to use computers and office productivity tools with sufficient speed
  • Ability to work onsite in a secure facility environment
