Oversees and coordinates program activities under the guidance of the Program Manager to manage budgets, schedules, and resources while ensuring alignment with program objectives and quality standards.
Works closely with the Program Manager on multiple simultaneous projects to ensure timely completion of contractual responsibilities on time and on budget.
Coordinates project activities and ensures alignment with program goals; monitors program progress, quality, and adherence to project plans.
Coordinates and leads cross-functional teams to execute project plans and acts as liaison between teams, departments, and stakeholders.
Provides guidance and mentorship to project managers and technical staff; serves as designated alternate to the Program Manager and acts in PM's absence to ensure program continuity.
Conducts risk assessments and develops contingency plans; ensures quality standards and procedures are implemented and enforced.
Creates and maintains project schedules and reports; facilitates effective communication among stakeholders.
Performs duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 2 years of large contract and program level experience in Federal Government client environments.
Must be able to pass a background check.
May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
Extremely detail-oriented and well organized.
Proficient skills using Microsoft and Google Suite Products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to learn new software.
Demonstrated capability to manage multi-task programs/projects, multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity.
Demonstrated working knowledge of government regulations.
Willing to travel for short term assignments.
PMP certification (desired).
Ability to forge new relationships and work in team environments.
Ability to work on-site at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, TX.
Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods and sit for long periods looking at computer screen.
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
May be asked to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, business travel, or hours outside normal business hours.
