About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drafts Statement of Works (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) for purchase order and/or contract with total value under $250,000.
Conducts market research, data analysis, and technical evaluations from vendor proposals.
Reviews planned orders, creates requisitions for purchased items and supports the approval process.
Tracks order acknowledgement; confirms lead times, delivery dates, and costs; and communicates with the program office on any discrepancies or disruptions.
Reviews and tracks purchase orders until they are closed.
Reviews orders to confirm that they adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, and reports nonconformance.
Reviews invoices to confirm delivery of goods and assists with invoicing discrepancies.
Identifies opportunities and recommends actions to achieve efficiencies.
Evaluates supplier’s capacity to perform and comply and makes recommendations to management concerning products and services and available sources of supply.
Assists COR with eFiling requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of formal education and relevant work experience.
Experience in acquisitions or supply chain fields.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other procurement statutes, policies, and procedures preferred.
Experience applying analytical skills to procurement issues.
Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
Secret Clearance is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
