About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in developing and administering industrial security procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documentation and equipment.
Prepare detailed manuals that outline security regulations, and establish and maintain procedures for proper handling, storage, and recordkeeping of sensitive materials.
Manage and grant personnel and visitor access to restricted records and assets according to established security protocols.
Develop, administer, and maintain industrial security procedures for the protection of classified or proprietary materials, documentation, and equipment in accordance with government and industry standards.
Conduct security education and awareness classes for personnel, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to security protocols and procedures.
Investigate security incidents or violations, prepare detailed reports documenting findings, and recommend and implement preventive actions to address and mitigate future security risks.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
Previous military experience is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of related laws and regulations, with demonstrated ability to ensure organizational compliance.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
