About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Technical Architect is responsible for the design, development, and oversight of enterprise-level technology solutions that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
This role provides strategic technical leadership, ensures best practices in architecture, and facilitates the successful delivery of complex IT projects within the stipulated timelines and budgetary constraints.
Design and document robust, scalable, and secure enterprise technology architectures in alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive technical specifications and solution blueprints.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and oversight to project teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, engineers, and project managers, to ensure solutions meet client objectives.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that optimize performance, security, and maintainability of IT solutions.
Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed architectural diagrams, interface designs, and documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s-level degree from a recognized college or university.
Eight (8) years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming, or testing.
Seven (7) years of experience in requirements development and analysis, including elicitation techniques, use case development, and user story mapping.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and testable requirements documents and specifications.
Seven (7) years of experience in documenting complex software systems, including creating sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, process flows, and other architectural artifacts.
Experience with Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process, specifically Stages 3 and 4.
Must be able to pass a background check.
