About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations
  • Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability
  • Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues
  • Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams
  • Support ongoing and planned initiatives, including SD-WAN implementation and optimization
  • Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with Agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in change management processes
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams
  • Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience performing supervisory/management work
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently and on a multi-functional team
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting a 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment
