About the role

  • Provide expert-level software design, development, implementation, and maintenance services for mission-critical government systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs, design robust solutions, and implement secure, scalable applications.
  • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) ensuring compliance with government security standards.
  • Support functions aligned to DCWF work roles (e.g., DevSec Ops Specialist; Software Developer; Software/Cloud Architect).
  • Document and maintain software configurations, releases, and supporting technical documentation as applicable.
  • Design algorithms, scripts, and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Produce code based on customer and platform requirements.
  • Test and deploy programs and applications.
  • Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or approved equivalent experience.
  • IAT/M Level III and Fluency with various software languages as required by the customer.
  • 6 years.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
