Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
Investigate problem areas
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
Work on the SCOR EI initiative
Make updates to the SCOR Java applications
Updates to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities to Power BI and the system data model
Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode
Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required
Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required
Available for on-call support as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

8 years of experience working with Power BI
8 years of experience with writing SQL for relational databases
8 years of experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
8 years of experience with Junit and Unit Test development
Must be able to pass a background check
Minimum Skills: Must possess problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Requirements gathering and documentation
Business process improvement and system design
Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time
Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature
Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of experience with Angular UI Framework
4 years of experience with Crystal Reports
