About the role

  • Develop and deliver engaging, learner-centered training solutions for government clients.
  • Utilize the ADDIE model or similar instructional design methodologies to analyze training requirements, design effective learning solutions, and implement instructional programs tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project managers, and multimedia developers to create high-quality, measurable, and outcome-based training solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for ISD activities supporting CO, IO, and Faculty Development courseware.
  • Apply the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process to develop and update formal Faculty Development courseware.
  • Use ISD Course (AETC ADDIE or approved equivalent) methodology to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training products.
  • Develop and maintain training objectives, lesson plans, evaluation materials, and support documentation consistent with ISD requirements.
  • Maintain required ISD certification (CCAF ISD Certification or civilian equivalent) as applicable.
  • Develop curriculum IAW applicable Master Training Task List (MTTL) and Training Task List (TTL) requirements as well as audit and edit all developed courseware for accuracy, completeness, flow, balance, and clarity of understanding, IAW 39 IOS SOPs/Instructions/OIs, ACC Instructions, and Joint Directives.
  • Analyze Task Analysis Worksheets to ensure training requirements are derived by identifying TTL and knowledge, Qualifications, and abilities (KSA) needed to perform each task and comparing the entry level of learning to the required Bloom's taxonomy level of learning.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in subject matter related to courseware hired to develop, Air Force ISD Course (AETC ADDIE or Approved Equivalent Course).
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • CCAF ISD Certification or civilian equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience applying the ISD process to formal Air Force CO, IO, or Faculty Development courseware.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
