About the role
- Provide translation services for individuals with language barriers
- Accurately translate spoken work situations, including lectures and meetings
- Read and translate original documents
- Edit translated versions
- Be sensitive to cultural nuances during the translation process
Requirements
- High School/BA Degree or equivalent in years of experience
- 3+ years of translation/interpretation in Korean
- Certified Translation Professional
- ATA Certification
- Translation Certifications
- Experience with State Department, FDA, Health & Human Services, Medical, Legal, Housing Authority, etc.
- Must pass background check
- Proficiency in written communication
- Strong social awareness for interpretation
- Cultural awareness
- Physical stamina
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat
