About the role
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for performance and efficiency.
- Configure and manage Snowflake environments, including security, roles, and resource monitors.
- Integrate Snowflake with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring optimal query execution and cost management.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data engineering or development roles, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with ETL tools, Python, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of Snowflake features: Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning, and Data Sharing.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
