About the role

  • Own the roadmap for our internal care delivery tools focusing on maximizing care team throughput while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions, utilizing A/B testing and analysis.
  • Ensure that data is collected and flows accurately between backend systems and frontline tools, supporting maintenance in the correct source of truth for patient data.
  • Conduct research to identify friction in charting, member engagement and communications and patient/panel management.
  • Design automated task-routing systems and clinical decision support tools that allow our care operations to scale within existing markets and into new markets.
  • Lead the technical strategy for integrating our EHR with our internal backend platform and third-party tools.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand market opportunities and drive prioritization of features to build product differentiation.
  • Act as the primary bridge between Care Operations, Engineering, and Compliance (HIPAA/SOC2) to ensure product decisions reflect both clinical and technical realities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience working within high-growth startup environments, while understanding the broader traditional health system infrastructure
  • Comfortable discussing API integration, database relationships and common frameworks for exchanging data within the healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare system operations, how health plans work, and experience working with healthcare data - HL7 and ADT feeds, and Claims data
  • Experience working with Care Delivery Teams
  • Team player, able to work efficiently and deliver on your and the team's commitments
  • Willing and eager to learn new technologies, nice to have experience with Spruce Health, Athena EHR and related products i.e. Athena Telehealth, Acuity, HubSpot
  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies, UX/UI principles, market research and competitive analysis
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Tableau
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to customer service
  • Scrappy and resourceful, understanding that we are early stage, and we don’t have all the people/tools in house (UX designer)
