Product Owner
CAVALLOAgile Product Owner working with Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver B2B SaaS and enterprise software solutions. Managing backlog and translating product strategy into actionable tasks for development teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translating Strategy to Execution: Partner closely with Product Management to thoroughly understand the product vision, roadmap, and business cases, translating that strategy into actionable requirements for the Agile development team.
- Backlog Ownership: Take complete ownership of planning, prioritizing, and maintaining the product feature backlog for the SalesPad for BC segment, ensuring the development team always has a refined, ready-to-work queue of tasks.
- Defining the "What": Write clear, detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Sprint & Iteration Planning: Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iteration management, ensuring the team's daily work directly aligns with the strategic priorities set by the Product Manager.
- Value Delivery: Assess technical constraints and prioritize development work to ensure the team consistently delivers features with maximum efficiency and functionality for our Business Central customers.
- Impediment Resolution: Take a highly active role in identifying and mitigating roadblocks that impact the successful completion of sprint goals.
- Release Coordination: Collaborate on product release plans, setting clear technical expectations for the delivery of new BC functionalities and ensuring successful hand-offs.
- Accepting Work: Serve as the final voice of quality for the development team, reviewing and accepting completed user stories to ensure they meet the defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Excellence: Keep abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and continuously optimize the team's execution workflows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years minimum commercial experience specifically as an execution-focused Product Owner, within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or supply chain/distribution technology.
- Proven success with ownership of multiple products and capabilities within a product-line ecosystem.
- Familiarity with, or direct experience working in, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (highly preferred).
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar relevant field.
- In-depth, tactical knowledge of Agile processes, Scrum ceremonies, and backlog management tools.
- Required experience with Atlassian solutions -Jira, Confluence.
- Scrum Certifications. Professional Scrum Product Owner I/II from Scrum.org preferred.
- Leverage internal AI tooling for increased productivity, execution density and quality outcomes.
- Experienced with Google Workspace tools.
- Outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs from Product Managers into precise technical instructions for developers.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, operating with a strong attention to detail.
