About the role

  • Responsible for winning new business and securing new annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Meet prospective customers in the construction/built environment sector across the UK to understand their business and objectives and sell a range of products and solutions.
  • Work with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product and Customer Value teams to create high value, qualified sales opportunities and manage them through to successful conclusion.
  • Host in-person and online meetings with potential customers and collaborate with Pre-Sales to demonstrate Causeway solutions.
  • Contribute to tailored proposals, RFIs, RFPs and tenders that articulate Causeway's value propositions.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth target market knowledge, competitor information and market developments.
  • Use MEDDPICC, MAPs and digital sales enablement tools to qualify opportunities and maintain CRM updates, forecasts and pipeline health.
  • Represent the company at industry events and act as a thought leader via social channels.
  • Coordinate daily operational activities, monitor KPIs, resolve blockers and align with the Sales Manager to support team performance.
  • Assist customers with business cases and ROI calculations and collaborate across business units.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of closing new logo and cross-sell sales, working to the cadence of a quarterly driven sales organisation.
  • Proven experience of closing sales involving multiple decision makers and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate and influence complex decision making and buying processes, including complex contractual negotiations.
  • Ability to competitively out-think other suppliers.
  • Ability to understand potential customer short-, medium- and long-term objectives and align solutions to these.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills and previous experience in responding to RFIs, RFPs, tenders and other written requests.
  • Ability to work to a personal target, being autonomous, proactive and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team with excellent collaboration skills to define and drive execution of business plans.
  • Desirable: Relevant built environment industry or digital transformation experience.
  • Desirable: Degree level, diploma or equivalent education preferred.
