About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative and programmatic leadership for the Feeding Our Neighbor’s Program
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the program including 38+ pantries and Hub operations
  • Manage program budget of approximately $5 million
  • Directly supervise FON Management Team
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff and volunteers
  • Identify area(s) of unmet needs throughout the Archdiocese of NY
  • Advocate for the needs of underserved populations within the community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in social services, non-profit management or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in food related inventory management and logistics
  • Minimum 5 years in a management role
  • Familiarity with state and local health requirements for safe food handling and operations
  • Familiarity with and compassion towards poverty and hunger related public policy
  • Experience with budget and grants management
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
