About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative and programmatic leadership for the Feeding Our Neighbor’s Program
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the program including 38+ pantries and Hub operations
- Manage program budget of approximately $5 million
- Directly supervise FON Management Team
- Recruit, train and supervise staff and volunteers
- Identify area(s) of unmet needs throughout the Archdiocese of NY
- Advocate for the needs of underserved populations within the community
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in social services, non-profit management or related field required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in food related inventory management and logistics
- Minimum 5 years in a management role
- Familiarity with state and local health requirements for safe food handling and operations
- Familiarity with and compassion towards poverty and hunger related public policy
- Experience with budget and grants management
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
