About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage assigned dealer order portfolios, including planned, emergency, MEGA, and backordered requirements
  • Monitor order demand and fulfillment risks and develop solutions supporting delivery commitments
  • Serve as primary dealer contact for fulfillment, supply constraints, and escalations
  • Advise on sourcing alternatives, inventory availability, lead times, and order strategies
  • Conduct business reviews with dealers to improve partnerships and service performance
  • Analyze inventory shortages, transportation delays, and supplier constraints
  • Partner with inventory, procurement, logistics, distribution center, and product teams
  • Coordinate recovery plans and escalations for critical customer downtime situations
  • Implement process improvements enhancing fulfillment, dealer support, and operational efficiency
  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and communicate operational reports, service metrics, and fulfillment trends
  • Present recommendations and business insights to dealers, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain documentation of escalations, corrective actions, and customer commitments
  • Support strategic initiatives, new program implementations, and system enhancements

Requirements

  • Experience in aftermarket parts operations, order fulfillment, or supply chain management
  • Experience supporting dealer-facing customers and resolving complex issues
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar parts policies, fulfillment processes, and distribution operations
  • Experience managing emergency, downtime, or critical customer order situations
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Background in project management, Lean, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency with SAP, PartsViz, Antares, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar business systems
  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across teams
  • Ability to work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend coverage rotation
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 5%
  • Successful completion of a drug screen
