Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions
Support the IT team with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document business requirements
Participate in maintaining and upgrading IT systems and infrastructure
Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations
Help create technical documentation and user guides
Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making

Complete a 40-hour-per-week assignment lasting 12 weeks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited university/college in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or a technical related degree at the time of application and throughout the program
Must have 15 completed semester hours before the start of the internship
Transfer students must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university
Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA (no rounding) at current institution
Must be able to relocate to the indicated work location for the duration of the internship and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
Understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and modern web application development concepts
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Basic knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols
Exposure to scripting, automation, APIs, AI, machine learning, or infrastructure automation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to an inclusive and productive work environment
Experience organizing or working with groups
Experience in project work
Relevant internship or work experience
Well-developed PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
Ability to articulate and summarize analytical data for leadership
Resume and unofficial transcript required
Must be willing to work onsite five days a week
Visa sponsorship is not available
Successful completion of a drug screen required for employment
