Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited university/college in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or a technical related degree at the time of application and throughout the program
  • Must have 15 completed semester hours before the start of the internship
  • Transfer students must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4-year university
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA (no rounding) at current institution
  • Must be able to relocate to the indicated work location for the duration of the internship and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and modern web application development concepts
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
  • Understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols
  • Exposure to scripting, automation, APIs, AI, machine learning, or infrastructure automation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to an inclusive and productive work environment
  • Experience organizing or working with groups
  • Experience in project work
  • Relevant internship or work experience
  • Well-developed PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
  • Ability to articulate and summarize analytical data for leadership
  • Resume and unofficial transcript required
  • Must be willing to work onsite five days a week
