About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead design and development of Motor Grader Ground Engaging Tool components, including cutting edges, end bits, ripper points, shank protection systems, and wear packages
- Develop solutions improving machine productivity, penetration performance, wear life, serviceability, and customer value
- Perform structural, fatigue, performance, and wear simulations
- Utilize Virtual Product Development tools to predict stress, durability, material behavior, and wear characteristics
- Develop and validate wear-performance models using field data, laboratory testing, and simulation results
- Analyze interactions between blade, cutting edge, moldboard, and ripper systems
- Evaluate alternative materials, heat treatments, casting, forging, and wear technologies
- Support prototype builds, laboratory testing, field validation, and production implementation
- Lead root-cause investigations for field issues using analytical, simulation, and test data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of analytical techniques, engineering tools, simulation methods, and AI-assisted technologies
- Ability to identify root causes of design and performance issues and develop multiple solutions
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities
- Knowledge of mining applications, Ground Engaging Tool (GET) systems, wear technologies, and engineering methodologies
- Knowledge of engineering tools including Creo, Teamcenter, ANSYS, DEM, and Wear Simulation
- Knowledge of parametric design, simulation, and knowledge-based engineering
- Ability to design, analyze, simulate, validate, and optimize GET systems throughout the product development lifecycle
- Ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through production
- Must work onsite five days a week
- Visa sponsorship is not available
