About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the AWS Platform Services team within the Enterprise Cloud Adoption team
- Coach, guide, and facilitate the growth of a diverse technical work group
- Develop collaborative relationships with business partners, suppliers, and information technology groups
- Advocate for cloud technologies
- Maintain cybersecurity and compliance controls for AWS technologies
- Own delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable AWS solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business priorities
- Direct platform operations, governance, security and vulnerability management, and automation across enterprise AWS environments
- Partner on incident response, risk reduction, and strategic cloud initiatives
- Drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and process improvement through automation, reporting, and standardized cloud management practices
- Manage and mentor a diverse global team, including workforce planning, talent development, and workstream prioritization
- Guide crucial technical decisions related to products, processes, tools, and technologies
- Maintain an organizational climate encouraging innovation, collaboration, commitment, and business success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering results within complex, enterprise-scale IT environments
- Proven experience leading teams, highly skilled technical resources, or large cross-functional initiatives
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Ability to guide technical and business resources toward successful outcomes
- Demonstrated quick and clear decision-making skills
- Strong people management skills, with a focus on developing others
- Previous experience with IT Architecture or Cybersecurity
- Foundational cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Cloud Digital Leader
- Strong technical leadership skills and business acumen
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with management, work groups, business units, and suppliers
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Adaptability and passion for change
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Competency in customer focus, change management and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, talent management, results focus, and inspirational leadership
- Must work onsite five days a week
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Successful completion of a drug screen required
