Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Vice President and leadership team to align priorities, shape strategic initiatives, and drive execution across the organization.
  • Translate leadership priorities into actionable plans, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Establish and manage the operating rhythm for the organization, including planning cycles, business reviews, leadership meetings, and performance tracking.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to leaders, helping teams develop, refine, and execute their approaches to achieving business objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and decision-making to focus resources on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Improve leadership effectiveness by coordinating initiatives, facilitating communication, and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Identify and remove organizational friction points that hinder collaboration, execution, or business results.
  • Develop and implement measurement frameworks that connect marketing and brand initiatives to meaningful business outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Visioning: Understanding of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicates a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them.
  • Consulting Process & Tools: Knowledge of consulting process; ability to engage in planning sales, conducting research and analysis, finding solutions and preparing recommendations.
  • Strategic Leadership: Progressive experience in marketing, brand management, strategy, consulting, or business operations for a enterprise company
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) or Chief Communications Officer or similar executives
  • Proven ability to translate corporate strategy into actionable marketing and brand initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
  • Marketing & Brand Expertise: Knowledge of: Global brand strategy, Integrated marketing communications, Digital marketing, Product marketing, Customer experience (CX), Corporate reputation management
