About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform startup, Site Integration, Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, testing, repair, and advanced electrical services on generator paralleling controls and switchgear, Battery Energy Storage Systems .
- Responsible for implementing the engineering solution on the site
- Train technicians and internal/external customers in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of equipment
- Extend technical Support to the Dealers (via help desk) to resolve customer issues.
- Assist the dealer service and sales personnel in promoting products and services
- Analyze statistical data and draw interpretations/Patterns for troubleshooting and come with possible solutions for implementation (field Fix)
- Submit daily reports, weekly expenses, and project files in a timely manner.
- Stay current with training on all new and updated platforms relevant to the job role

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology or a minimum 10+ years of equipment work experience or Equivalent experience with relative academic background.
- Excellent direct client handling experience skills
- Should be controls expert with sound knowledge of implementing automation controls of power systems, protective relays
- Expert in understanding and identifying problems in Different types of AC/DC Schematics and wiring diagram.
- Experienced in PLC programming preferably with CODESYS (IEC61131 Structured Text and FBD).
- Previous experience with Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, and GE systems shall be considered.
- HMI/SCADA installation and troubleshooting experience (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, GE, etc.), Ecostruxure experience shall be preferred.
- Previously worked with IPCs on installation, testing and commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution and Switchgear is must
- CEPA trained/ EGSA certification is preferred
- Proficient in Industrial Communications set up, installation, commissioning, problem identification and resolution.
- Computer proficiency Microsoft office and other new generation software
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and willing to travel under short notice to different regions of the world under demanding conditions
- Ability to perform repetitive operations.
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to travel internationally up to 60% of the time with a valid, with unrestricted valid passport.
- Experience with Microgrids installation, commissioning, troubleshooting shall be added advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. With strong preference in English
- Excellent business and commercial skills.
