About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide critical support for NPI, CPI, factory support, and cost reduction initiatives for LPSD engines
Collaborate closely with engine platform and application teams, performance teams, and external suppliers
Utilize APQP to collaborate with suppliers; optimizing designs to meet performance, reliability, durability, and cost targets
Direct the work of off-site engineering groups providing analysis, and detailing services
Complete design FMEA’s and develop validation requirements for new and improved designs
Create product validation plans and lead execution of these plans
Assist in teardown/inspection of turbochargers being used in validation or returned from a customer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree related to Engineering/Technology required
Extensive knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product
Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
Extensive knowledge of effective self-management practices
