About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Performance of preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Respond to and provide service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required
  • Prepare/complete assigned tasks in conformance with applicable procedure requirements provided by the supervisor
  • Perform reparative maintenance on production equipment
  • Assist with electrical installations and repairs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years minimum of cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance, corrective, preventive, and testing in a manufacturing facility AND/OR relevant industry certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams
  • Safe and effective use of common maintenance tools (carpentry, plumbing, assembly, etc.)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and installation of manufacturing machine components
  • Experience utilizing CMMS
  • Understanding of and experience using electrical tools, materials and safety practices
