About the role
- Provide technical leadership to industry trade associations, regulatory authorities, and standards organizations
- Serve as the regional specialist with in-depth knowledge of both current and emerging regulatory requirements
- Deliver expert analysis and interpretation of market access requirements to Caterpillar product teams
- Collaborate with Caterpillar teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements
- Advise and support regional certification of Caterpillar products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Fluent English

- Previous experience in product regulations, standards, and certification
- Knowledge of engine emissions technologies and certification test procedures
- Previous experience with Mexico NOM certification
- Knowledge of telecommunication devices and certification
- Knowledge of product development methods and product engineering techniques
- Basic level knowledge of Portuguese
