About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with machine product group for integration of autonomous system on their machine.
Lead the design, implementation, testing, and release of application design and software for the autonomous system.
Troubleshoot system integration issues.
Ensure alignment of the system design with the 1Autonomy Architecture.
Follow and Champion 1Autonomy Work Standards.
Lead/mentor team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven Experience as a Software Engineer in C++ Development for product design and development.
Proven Experience in creating system level requirements for engineering product development projects.
Experience in Construction or Mining industry; preferred experience with Robotics, Autonomy, or Automation.
Knowledge and experience with Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Hydraulic Mining Shovels or Tracked Loaders preferred.
Experience with CAT Products and tools preferred.
