About the role
- Work with engineering staff to collect data for capital and salvage projects
- Ensure the accuracy of existing documentation released to operations including line rates and sequenced procedures
- Create Standard Work for various areas within Operations
- Perform capacity analysis studies on production work areas and equipment
- Assist the Continuous Product Improvement group with quality and warranty data analysis
- Create AutoCAD drawings of production tooling
- Perform routine duties such as process waste elimination and safety walks
- Use 3-D printed prototypes or usable gages and assembly fixtures
- Participate in a rotational co-op program (multiple rotations listed)
Requirements
- Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology
- Applicant must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Cumulative 2.8 minimum GPA
- Commits to a rotational program for a maximum of three rotations
- Attach a copy of your resume and an unofficial copy of your transcripts to your application
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Good analytical, computer and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology (desired)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (desired)
- Must pass Background Screening and Drug & Alcohol Screening
