Mining Technical Training Consultant
Caterpillar Inc.Training Consultant designing and delivering MineStar service training programs for dealers and customer-facing personnel. Engaging in hands-on training and support for mining technology systems in Brisbane.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver engaging technical training (theory + practical) to dealer and customer teams
- Support installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of mining technology systems
- Work with stakeholders to identify training needs and recommend solutions
- Maintain and improve training materials to reflect current systems and best practices
- Provide on-site coaching and guidance to technicians in real-world environments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training programs and service capability
- Build strong relationships with dealers and customers through clear communication and follow-through
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience with mining equipment, mobile plant, or fleet technology systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Confidence communicating with technicians, operators and stakeholders
- Ability to travel and work on-site when required
- A customer-focused mindset and willingness to support others
- Exposure to MineStar or similar fleet management / mining technology systems
- Experience in training, mentoring or coaching others in a workplace environment
