Key responsibilities & impact

Assists in the design, definition, development, and test of the robotics software development.
Collaborates with senior engineers to ensure that internal and external clients' needs are met.
Collects and researches data on customer experience with robotic platforms; prepares reports for management.
Documents architecture specifications, software design description, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
Utilizes appropriate tools to debug, test, and maintain software and hardware systems of robotic tools.
Participates in design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, and regulatory considerations.
Ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
Knowledge of software development life cycle and methodologies.
Participates in test readiness reviews, functional, volume, and load testing.
Knowledge of application and system development with various development tools.
Knowledge of artificial intelligence methodologies and technologies.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and debugging techniques.
Ability to anticipate and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.
