About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the planning, organization and implementation of multiple and complex digital projects.
  • Manage all aspects of a project to ensure the project is implemented, accepted, and accomplished within a set deadline.
  • Plan and monitor project development to ensure that quality standards are achieved.
  • Drive project cadence and delivery, ensuring milestones and dependencies stay on track.
  • Model exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement, providing clear updates, decisions, and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Drive team accountability, reinforcing commitments, removing blockers, and maintaining focus on outcomes.
  • Maintain high organizational discipline, managing backlogs, schedules, risks, and documentation in alignment with PMO standards.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, building strong relationships across business, technical, and partner teams.
  • Design, implement, and reinforce delivery processes and standards that improve efficiency, strengthen predictability, and ensure consistent alignment with Application PMO practices across the project.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive program management leadership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment (typically 8+ years).
  • Experience leading and coaching Project Managers (typically 3+ years).
  • Experience delivering complex cross-functional digital projects in matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Must have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.
