About the role
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision for customer data collection, prioritizing features that improve data quality, latency, and accessibility. This includes centralizing management and standards around data collection through all applicable channels.
- Responsible for acting as Project Manager for larger, more complex projects with high value to the organization
- Product Development: Translate user needs into technical requirements for engineering teams, overseeing the lifecycle of data capture tools (forms, APIs).
- Data Flow & Pipeline Management: Oversee the end-to-end flow of data from ingestion to consumption, ensuring reliability, velocity and modernization
- Data Accuracy & Quality: Ensure high-quality, actionable data through validation tools and deduplication processes.
- Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all contact collection methods comply with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure data products adhere to security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
- Customer Insights: Analyze data, conduct user research, and collect feedback to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing (for campaigns), sales (for lead management), and legal teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to determine long and mid-term product development strategy for the Marketing Communities and ensure alignment with overall member engagement vision and strategy.
- Ensure buy-in for the product development strategy both internally and with key internal business partners.
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to translate business needs into technical data requirements.
- Product Lifecycle Ownership: Lead all phases from ideation to post-launch monitoring, using feedback to adjust products.
- Team Management and Vision: Manages and mentors teams and associated budgets; designs enablement plans to enhance team capabilities.
- Participates in strategy development and implementation of marketing technology and/or marketing data tools and techniques to improve business outcomes.
- Evaluates existing marketing technology and/or marketing data tools and systems capabilities, shares recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

- Digital Marketing: Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.
- Experience leading teams
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure, contact management, and data modeling.
- Experience in Agile methodology, building roadmaps, and prioritizing backlogs.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and present complex data concepts to stakeholders.
- Strong accountability, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in data management, data analytics, or technical product management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, information systems, marketing, communications, engineering, or related field.
- Experience working with onshore/offshore team model.
- Experience managing a Salesforce Sales Cloud environment and a deep understanding of various Salesforce Marketing Cloud components and the interconnectedness of those products.
