About the role

  • Lead the development and execution of Global Finance first‑generation strategy for management reporting and xP&A.
  • Define the future vision and roadmap for next‑generation, enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting, and management reporting using the OneStream platform.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to design and deliver future‑state xP&A solutions (e.g., integrated driver‑based planning models, dashboards, and analytical tools).
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams—including Corporate FP&A, IT, and business units across the Global Finance Services Division.
  • Communicate strategic vision and ROI for complex initiatives to senior executives and governance committees, securing leadership support and resources.
  • Establish governance frameworks that support continuous improvement through structured feedback loops.
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of OneStream and extended planning & analysis (xP&A) processes across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, teamwork, and excellence aligned with Caterpillar’s Values in Action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance transformation, or related roles
  • Strong experience with enterprise financial systems and performance management tools; familiarity with OneStream is required.
  • Proven leadership and project management experience, including leading cross‑functional teams or finance transformation efforts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and technical concepts to senior leaders.
  • Strategic, analytically strong leader with solid business acumen and problem‑solving skills; able to translate data into actionable insights and drive data‑informed decisions in a global, cross‑cultural environment.
