About the role
- Oversee the planning, organization and implementation of multiple and complex digital projects
- Manage all aspects of a project to ensure implementation, acceptance, and completion within a set deadline
- Plan and monitor project development to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Drive project cadence and delivery, ensuring milestones and dependencies stay on track
- Model exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement, providing clear updates, decisions, and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Drive team accountability, reinforcing commitments, removing blockers, and maintaining focus on outcomes
- Maintain high organizational discipline, managing backlogs, schedules, risks, and documentation in alignment with PMO standards
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, building strong relationships across business, technical, and partner teams
- Design, implement, and reinforce delivery processes and standards that improve efficiency, strengthen predictability, and ensure consistent alignment with Application PMO practices
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program
- Extensive experience in project management
- Extensive experience in decision-making process and tools
- Extensive experience in change control processes
- Extensive experience in problem management processes
- Extensive program management leadership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment (typically 8+ years)
- Experience leading and coaching Project Managers (typically 3+ years)
- Experience delivering complex cross-functional digital projects in matrixed organizations
- Proven experience with project management concepts including project charters, scheduling and planning projects
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others.
