About the role
- Design new components and systems for the electrical integration on Large Wheel Loaders and Wheel Tractor Scrapers.
- Responsible for the design, cost, quality, validation, and schedule.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and lifecycle efficiency.
- Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.
- Drive collaboration with product development groups, value chain, manufacturing, commercial, and product support.
- Research and develop new technology.
- Developing and documenting functional design requirements.
- Provide leadership for design reviews and conformance to design guidelines and best practices.
- Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
- Perform electrical load analysis and initiate discussions with system partners.
Requirements
- Large Wheel Loader, Wheel Tractor Scraper or mining industry application knowledge.
- Extensive experience in Electrical installation product design and development.
- Electrical SDP experience and ability to influence through expertise.
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
