About the role
- Lead a team of 10–15 engineers on drivetrain-related projects
- Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance team members' technical expertise
- Promote a safe work environment and resolve team conflicts
- Define and manage project timelines based on technical expertise
- Provide expert technical direction on design / field issues
- Set and execute strategic direction at the section level
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate feedback into tasks
- Make informed decisions affecting product performance and efficiency
- Engage with dealers, vehicle teams, and customers for alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Automobile Engineering
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in drivetrain systems
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing product development programs
- In-depth knowledge of planetary and/or countershaft transmissions and axles
- Proficiency in general engineering practices
