About the role
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS services including ECR, ECS, S3, EC2, and Virtual Windows Servers.
- Develop and manage CloudFormation templates for infrastructure automation.
- Implement Blue-Green Deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases.
- Monitor and optimize systems using CloudWatch, Athena, and other AWS tools.
- Configure and manage Load Balancers, SES, SNS, and Lambda functions.
- Ensure robust security practices with AWS Security Groups and Subnet configurations.
- Build and manage Docker images for containerized deployments.
- Write and maintain Shell scripts and have basic proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
- Manage version control and workflows using GitHub.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Degree in finance, accounting, tax, or related field.
- Core experience with Global VAT/GST and Indirect tax accounting.
- Working knowledge of Avalara, Vertex, GVRT, is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of MS Excel, PoweBI/ Tableau/ Aletryx.
- Ability to analyse large data volumes to identify key insights.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven with a critical and positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Comfortable collaborating with various subject matter experts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
