About the role
- Manage dealers' relationships to market company products and services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability.
- Designing and assisting dealers on the forecast, sales strategy planning, and sales techniques; supporting the rollout of new products.
- Performing regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensuring implementation of corrective actions where needed.
- Acting within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.
- Presenting products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs.
- Engaging and aligning with internal and dealer partners to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Effective Communications: Ability to listen and adapt communications to meet the dealer and customer where they are.
- Speaking clearly, listening actively, articulating ideas effectively and engaging diverse audiences.
- Negotiating: Ability to present own position and listen to position of others in order to achieve win-win solutions.
- Relationship Management: Develop and engage others with a customer first mindset and maintain productive communications and relationships with a wide network of internal and external partners.
- Value Selling: Ability to understand what business challenges each customer is struggling with and to present product, technology or service costs and benefits to help solve those business challenges.
- Executive Presence: Demonstrated ability to project confidence, credibility, and authority without demanding it, especially under pressure.
- Public Speaking Skills: A successful candidate will be presenting every week to customers, dealers, or internal business partners.
