About the role
- Assessing supplier quality and supporting foundry suppliers
- Working on process improvements
- Ensuring all products comply with manufacturing specifications and standards
- Collaborating with supplier and engineering teams through APQP and PPAP processes
- Conducting tests and assessments on incoming supplies
- Developing supplier inspection and evaluation mechanisms
- Generating reports on supplier quality and defect rates
- Guiding suppliers to reduce defect rates
- Conducting supplier quality control audits
- Providing training on Caterpillar BIQ and Lean Manufacturing aspects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of foundry experience working on large or complex castings in operations, engineering, or quality roles.
