About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead preparation of U.S. Federal income tax compliance activities, including pro-forma 1120 returns, book-to-tax adjustments, consolidated return computations, and Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax calculations
  • Lead federal quarterly tax estimate and provision processes
  • Coordinate tax data across the enterprise and partner with business stakeholders and technical specialists
  • Serve as process lead for U.S. Federal compliance and reporting activities
  • Coordinate annual compliance and quarterly reporting timelines
  • Anticipate challenges, identify dependencies, and drive solutions
  • Monitor process performance and improve efficiency and execution
  • Lead process improvement, controls implementation, and planning initiatives
  • Support new technologies, automation tools, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with tax professionals, business partners, and leadership
  • Translate complex tax matters into actionable recommendations
  • Communicate challenges and opportunities to leadership and drive alignment
  • Analyze and develop responses to tax authority inquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal income tax compliance, provision, and reporting activities
  • Strong understanding of federal tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Ability to analyze complex tax matters and apply technical guidance effectively
  • Experience coordinating complex processes involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve challenges and drive timely execution
  • Ability to connect information across multiple processes and understand downstream impacts of decisions
  • Strong aptitude for anticipating questions, identifying potential roadblocks, and developing practical solutions
  • Ability to simplify complex matters and explain key business impacts and required actions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex analysis while maintaining high quality
  • Strong focus on controls, validations, and documentation

  • Successful completion of a drug screen required
  • Experience with Corptax software, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Power Platform tools, process improvements, automated solutions, control environments, and tax authority audits would set the candidate apart
