About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a distributed team of developers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other leads and the Software Development Manager to drive architectural decisions and define the technical roadmap.
  • Provide daily guidance and unblock team members across different levels of experience and geographical locations.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of several scalable web apps.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to integrate modern tools and practices into our stack.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading development teams in full stack environments.
  • Strong expertise in frontend frameworks (React.js, Next.js, TypeScript) and backend platforms (Node.js, NestJS, Prisma/TypeORM, PostgreSQL).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, Redis, Cloudflare, AWS, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of system design, caching strategies, scalability, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows, Agile/Scrum practices, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
  • A mindset for innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
