About the role

  • Case Management: Own assigned cases end-to-end — monitor progress, follow up for missing information, and ensure timely completion.
  • Document Collection & Filing: Gather, review, and organize required forms and certifications with precision and accuracy.
  • Communication: Send professional, concise email updates to clients and coordinate internally with accountants, engineers, and legal staff.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process or SOP updates to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Pattern Recognition: Spot recurring case types and preempt issues before they escalate.
  • Operational Support: Contribute to internal documentation and help build scalable systems to support growing case volume.
  • Product Feedback: Share insights and observations with the engineering team about platform usability and potential automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in legal intake, case management, or paralegal support
  • Proven proactivity and independence — moves work forward without constant supervision
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable handling high volumes of documents
  • Excellent written communication in English (client interactions are email-based)
  • Experience in ambiguous or fast-paced environments where processes evolve quickly
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, CRMs, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Superhuman, Gemini)
  • Startup or tech company experience (Nice-to-Have)
  • Background in legal, tax, or compliance work (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience building or improving SOPs or internal documentation (Nice-to-Have)
  • Familiarity with automation tools or case management systems (Nice-to-Have)
