About the role
- Own top-of-funnel prospecting: identify and engage high-potential accounts via cold calling, personalized email sequences, and social selling
- Command the initial outreach and engage prospects to uncover grantmaking and community needs
- Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and qualification targets
- Track and manage all outbound activities and prospect interactions within HubSpot
- Support early-stage client meetings to qualify prospects and attend online and in-person events
- Report to Head of Marketing and Communications as an individual contributor role
Requirements
- Progressive experience (likely 4-6+ years) of full-time work experience supporting teams in areas such as business development, fundraising, or strategy/management consulting
- A true self-starter with an unwavering, results-driven mindset
- Experience in an external-facing role, with comfort initiating conversations and driving engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
