Director, Community Oncology
Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc.Director of Marketing driving adoption of FIRDAPSE for LEMS in oncology. Leading strategic marketing efforts in community oncology with cross-functional collaboration and executional excellence.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase FIRDAPSE awareness, adoption, and market share within the oncology LEMS segment; specifically within the GPO/community oncology setting
- Lead the development of omnichannel promotional campaigns (print, digital, and in-person) to effectively communicate FIRDAPSE’s value proposition to community oncologists both HCPs, and patients
- Align marketing initiatives with sales, medical affairs, and market research teams to optimize impact and execution
- Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights research to inform strategic decisions
- Drive brand positioning and messaging for the oncology segment, ensuring clarity and differentiation
- Represent Catalyst at key community oncology conferences and industry events, focusing on increasing FIRDAPSE's visibility in SCLC treatment discussions
- Contribute to the development of the annual brand tactical plan, with a focus on HCP and patient marketing, omnichannel engagement, and strategic execution
- Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with all promotional activities
- Oversee relationships with agency partners, consultants, and key advocacy organizations to drive brand initiatives
- Monitor budget performance and optimize resource allocation for maximum ROI
- Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to executive leadership to support decision-making and investment in brand growth
- Support the sales team by developing effective selling materials and ensuring alignment with product positioning in community oncology
- Continuously evaluate marketing initiatives, measuring effectiveness and refining strategies based on performance insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred
- 5–7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with a strong preference for community oncology marketing experience
- Deep understanding of HCP and patient marketing in the community oncology therapeutic area, specifically GPO/Community Oncology marketing
- Proven ability to translate market data and competitive insights into actionable strategies
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing key stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, market access, medical affairs, and regulatory teams
- Ability to manage external partners, including marketing agencies, consultants, and advocacy organizations
- Demonstrated success in budget management, strategic planning, and tactical execution. Neurology or rare disease marketing experience is a plus.
