About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all Medical Information activities across Catalyst’s therapeutic areas
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and balanced medical information to external stakeholders
  • Ensure unsolicited medical requests regarding Catalyst’s products are answered in a timely, compliant manner using approved medical documents and resources
  • Create and manage Medical Information content, including Standard Response Letters, Custom responses, and other Medical Information materials
  • Manage the Medical Information Call Center and vendor
  • Ensure that Adverse Event and Product Complaint identification and management are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Design and conduct company-wide training on Medical Information processes and best practices
  • Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of Medical Information SOPs and other process documents as needed
  • Oversee Medical Information Planning and contribute to Medical Strategies
  • Represent Medical Information in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with key internal stakeholders and alliance partners
  • Lead metric and KPI reporting efforts, analyzing trends, and identifying data gaps to guide content development
  • Enhance Medical Information systems by assessing digital and alternative technological solutions
  • Maintain scientific reference libraries, manage literature services, and perform comprehensive literature searches
  • Manage the Medical Information booth and materials at Scientific Congresses
  • Support other Scientific Communication initiatives as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Medical Information
  • Proven experience leading Medical Information within a Medical Affairs organization
  • Strong scientific communication skills, with the ability to interpret, translate, and communicate complex data effectively to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects and external partnerships
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and vendor contracts
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong systems knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software, TEAMS, SharePoint, Veeva, and other technology and telephony systems
  • Willingness to travel (~20-25%) for congresses and other key medical initiatives
