About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, review, analyze, structure, and negotiate manufacturing, packaging, development, purchase, supply, license, and service agreements
  • Advise and provide training to business unit personnel on compliance policies, customer and vendor relations, contract matters, and regulatory issues
  • Assist in merger and acquisition activity
  • Help resolve customer disputes and claims, support litigation, and direct outside counsel in dispute and litigation matters
  • Provide general advice to senior management and other senior company personnel on a day-to-day basis
  • Offer guidance to achieve business objectives in compliance with laws and regulations while avoiding unacceptable risks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of three years of transactional or commercial law experience with a combination of large law firms and/or in-house pharmaceutical experience
  • Ability to practice as an in-house lawyer in New Jersey
