About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent and sell products within an assigned sales territory
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities and business plans with existing and prospective customers
  • Service existing accounts
  • Deliver presentations and proposals with accountability for profitability growth
  • Negotiate pricing, service plans, and implementation details
  • Partner with inside sales to promote and expand business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of direct outside account management sales experience
  • Aerospace industry knowledge
  • Steel distribution experience and experience with metal service centers
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with an achievement orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels and deliver presentations
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to develop proactive solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
