About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with the sales team on qualified opportunities: attend discovery calls, ask the right business and technical questions, and scope client needs accurately.
Lead or co-lead functional discovery workshops with prospects to map current-state processes (CRM, sales, finance, service, operations) against Zoho capabilities.
Design and deliver tailored Zoho demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that speak to the prospect's actual use cases, not generic feature walkthroughs.
Produce solution proposals, high-level effort/cost estimates, statements of work, and licensing recommendations (Zoho One vs. individual apps, tiering, add-ons).
Support RFP/RFI responses and, where relevant, public-sector tender submissions, ensuring technical and functional sections are accurate and defensible.
Act as a credible technical voice in client-facing meetings, building trust ahead of contract signature.
Translate signed-off requirements into functional and technical designs across the Zoho Suite (CRM, Books, Desk, Projects, Analytics, Creator, Flow, and related modules as required).
Configure and customise Zoho applications: modules, layouts, workflows, blueprints, functions (Deluge scripting), approval processes, and automation.
Design and build integrations between Zoho and third-party/legacy systems (APIs, webhooks, middleware) and data migration from source systems.
Own solution documentation: functional specs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and end-user documentation.
Coordinate UAT with client stakeholders, manage defect resolution, and sign off go-live readiness.
Ensure implementations respect PTL's governance standards for regulated-sector clients, including data protection, access control, and audit-trail requirements (GDPR and, where applicable, sector-specific controls).
Provide post-go-live and managed-services support: troubleshooting, minor enhancements, user queries, and periodic health checks.
Identify opportunities to expand client usage of the Zoho Suite (upsell/cross-sell) and feed these back to the sales team.
Maintain a working knowledge of Zoho's product roadmap and new releases, assessing relevance to existing clients.
Contribute to internal reusable assets: demo environments, accelerators, estimation templates, and reference architectures, to reduce delivery time on future engagements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of hands-on Zoho Suite implementation experience (CRM required; Books, Desk, Projects, Creator, Flow, and Analytics strongly preferred).
Proven experience scripting in Deluge, and working with Zoho APIs / webhooks for integrations.
Demonstrated pre-sales or client-facing solution consulting experience - comfortable running demos, workshops, and scoping conversations directly with business stakeholders.
Solid understanding of core business processes across sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, and how they map to CRM/ERP-style tooling.
Experience with data migration and third-party integrations (accounting systems, e-commerce, telephony/VoIP, marketing automation, or similar).
Ability to produce clear functional documentation, proposals, and estimates without close supervision.
Comfortable operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments; awareness of GDPR and general data governance principles.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - able to flex between technical delivery teams and non-technical business sponsors.
