About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, wireless solutions, and security devices.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of services.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and security issues.
- Manage VLANs, VPNs, QoS, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and network segmentation.
- Support Cisco Meraki, Catalyst, Nexus, and other Cisco technologies as applicable.
- Conduct health checks and performance assessments of network environments.
- Implement network security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Provide recommendations for network improvements and modernization.
- Support migration, deployment, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Proven experience in Cisco infrastructure deployment and support.
- Experience supporting enterprise network environment.
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies.
- Solid understanding of: TCP/IP LAN/WAN Technologies, Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLANs & Network Segmentation, Network Security Principles, High Availability and Redundancy.
