About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline infrastructure and application operations.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Python.
  • Build, deploy, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Automate monitoring, scaling, and recovery of services in distributed environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and reports demonstrating outcomes against objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ experience as an Automation Engineer, Platform Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation and tooling development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, services, and scaling.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management principles.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable improvements.
