  • Review weekly interview prep and provide light editorial feedback
  • Occasionally vet pitches from listeners, including preinterviewing guests outside the City Cast network
  • Produce episode recordings in Riverside
  • Edit episodes in Descript for editorial clarity and narrative flow, flagging potential social clips and noting cuts that will carry through to the video version

  • Write and finalize show notes and episode title options, adapting both for each of the 14 city feeds
  • Create episode thumbnails in Canva, including sourcing screenshots from Riverside, removing backgrounds, and building out the graphic
  • Upload and schedule each episode to the CityCastUSA YouTube channel, including thumbnail, title, show notes, and playlist management
  • Schedule each episode across 14 distinct Megaphone feeds weekly, customizing titles for each feed with careful attention to detail
  • Conduct a final QC listen-through of the audio version and a review of the YouTube upload before each episode goes live
  • Create social clips from podcast episodes for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Write compelling captions and apply thoughtful tagging strategy tailored to each platform
  • Handle all video editing for social content, optimizing format and pacing for each channel
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Your City Could Be Better listeners through our dedicated email account and social channels
  • Engage and activate our audience across platforms, fostering a community of people who care deeply about their cities

Requirements
