About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and evolve high-signal GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
  • Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and feedback loops across multi-language projects.
  • Build and maintain reusable CI/CD building blocks that product teams can adopt with minimal friction.
  • Improve release safety with stronger validation gates, rollout strategies, and automation around quality checks.
  • Drive Nx monorepo scalability through task orchestration, cache strategy, affected project workflows, and developer productivity improvements.
  • Build internal devkit tooling and generators to standardize platform patterns and reduce repetitive engineering work.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, Helm, and GitOps patterns.
  • Support Kubernetes-based workloads and deployment architecture across environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams on service hardening including observability, resilience, scaling, and operational readiness.
  • Improve platform security posture through guardrails, policy automation, and least-privilege patterns.
  • Raise service and pipeline reliability through strong monitoring, alerting, and incident-ready runbooks.
  • Improve operability with actionable logs, traces, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Reduce cognitive load for feature teams by making the golden path fast and intuitive.
  • Coach teams on delivery standards, DevOps maturity, and production best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or software engineering roles with strong operational ownership.
  • Strong TypeScript proficiency for platform tooling, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure code.
  • Production experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code, with AWS CDK as a strong plus.
  • Deep experience designing and operating GitHub Actions pipelines in medium-to-large codebases.
  • Strong understanding of build systems, dependency management, and monorepo-scale engineering.
  • Experience implementing secure CI/CD practices, release controls, and environment promotion strategies.
  • Solid Linux and Docker debugging skills in cloud-native environments.
  • Nx monorepo expertise, including task graph optimization, affected workflows, and caching strategy.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience and Helm chart management in real delivery environments.
  • Experience with GitOps delivery models such as Flux.
  • Familiarity with mixed-stack monorepos (Angular, NestJS, Java, and serverless workloads).
  • Experience with observability platforms (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) and production incident response.
